Sit and Wonder in Bangkok

Easy to access since it’s located near the thonglor BTS, good food & ambient with reasonable price compared to the cafe/restaurants in this area.

Had red curry and rice. it was really good. You could get the basil and the heat from the curry.

We stopped by as this was just around the corner from our hotel, it's fairly tucked away if you don't know it's there! That being said, the place was busy and we were lucky to get a table for two! Once we'd been served I could tell why; the food is delicious. It was just what we were after, a really decent Thai meal to start our adventure. The restaurant is tastefully renovated and the staff are really friendly. Would definitely visit again.

Wasn't bad, but it's a place with more of a weaternized taste Thai food, not really authentic authentic (just check the reviews, most of them are by foreigners). At most average only in terms of taste. If you want authentic Thai food where locals eat, this is not the place.

Good affordable food!

Super jummy , great and stylish location. We ordered pad Thai, spicy Thai salad and cashew chicken. Service was ok, they ignored us several times but the food came fast.

Had chicken Red curry and some beef fried rice, very tasty.

This was the first place we ate in Bangkok, and we have realised how lucky we were from the beginning. Lovely, attentive staff, stylish decor, excellent prices, orchid blossoms in the drinks... What more could you ask for? We’ve been twice so far (which actually means once a day!) but I wouldn’t say no to going back again before we leave. Also, the bill is always correct, and there is no question of the underhandedness we have had in other more ‘local’ restaurants in Thong Lo (which have also been more expensive and lower quality food).

It was a super nice environment and delicious food. Only issue was we ordered red curry and got green curry. Was delicious, but I will go bacn and try red curry soon haha

Excellent Thai food in the Sukhumvit area. Service was great as well.

Best dish Spicy Chicken with Pineapple 150B, Glass noodle with 2 large prawns 250B, stir-fry morning glory 100B but a little salty. Good with rice. Coconut shake is good. Prices are all-in no VAT and Service Charge.

Great food, good location close to Skytrain at Thonglor.

We had spring rolls and octopus rings as a appetizer, the spring rolls are vegetarian and delicious! They are not the usual mix of vegetable as they mainly include glass noodle like content but are very tasty. The octopus rings are good and served with a very unique sauce that fits perfectly.The main course was pad thai and yellow curry, the pad thai was not the best I have ever eaten but very good, they spice it well. The yellow curry was perfect, the only problem was the rice that was munchy as it wasn't cooked long enough. The real Highlight was the desert, a chocolate cake with some of the best vanilla ice cream I have eaten ever and some delicious whipped cream. All in all a very pleasant experience.

Great restaurant recommended by an expat friend. Really friendly staff, great Thai for a westerner! Red curry was SPICY! Family friendly.

I love this little hidden gem on the backstreet. Foods are delicious and staff are attentive. Good value for money too.

Cute and cozy restaurant with very delicious food at a reasonable price. Green curry, which is one of my favorite Thai food, down here is quite salty and sour but you would like others.

10/10! Loved the food! Got green curry with roti, wing bean salad, fried morning glory and fried rice. They were all great! Affordable prices too! Fried icecream for dessert, for me the batter was too thick but it still was delicious.

I went on Feb.the 9th, the restaurant is located on the 2nd floor. Previous reviews are nice, but do reflect the truth, the quality of the food is seriously bad and felt really unwell afterwards. The staff is barely nice and it looks the restaurant is targeted to Farang.

A cute little place on a quiet street. The atmosphere inside and outside was casual and the staff was friendly. My waiter got one of the two dishes I ordered wrong, and was able to change it without any problems. The taste of the food was okay, not the most flavourful I’ve had in Thailand. The food came quickly, but the noodles were also just warm; questionable whether it was heated up. Minor details: received cutlery after my food was brought to the table - made two trips and no spoon for the fresh coconut. You should bring cash; they take credit card but only for bills over 300 Thai baht, which they should state or indicate for customers who are in BKK for work and may not carry enough cash.

so ruined my dinner here. in my plate, there was a twisted hair. I told a staff that there is a hair on my meal. I expected someone to say sorry for that. just that is enough I expect. but, suprisingly, there is no one to say sorry for that. the staff that i give my pork with the hair, he showed it to other staff. but, suprisingly, no one say sorry for that. unbelievable.... i understand how this restorant managed... with the attitude that i felt. anyway when i pay for my bill, i told this to manager. she can not help saying sorry to me but without any complimentary. i didnot expect anything. but, here ruined my dinner...not recommended at all.

Hidden gem Near Marriott hotel alley way at the back on the left and closest bts is thong lo. Family Oriented restaurant who are Friendly and speaks English. Clean restaurant with clean toilet. This was one of the best food outlet I’ve eaten in Bangkok. No vat and service charge and good taste Looking forward in trying more other foods next time in bkk especially if there’s steam fish instead fried foods on the menu. Sticky mango dessert is a must try ( 👍🏻) and their pad Thai ( super 😋). Totally recommended and will come back next time in bkk. Sit and wonder team - keep up the good work! 👏🏼Also recommended to try mandarin ginger spa in next alley street if you have enough time.

A really nice place with tasty good genuine Thai food!! Very quiet location and prices are really good. Will go back as soon as I can!!Sometimes you find these small treasures when googling around.

Great restaurant! Very cozy and relaxed atmosphere with - in my opinion - a nice decoration. Very welcoming staff who come to you half way to ask you if everything is fine. Fairly reasonable prices, especially for the quality of the food. Also my two dishes came to me in just over 12min (green curry) and 15min (fried shrimps and squids) and where hot but not 'burning your tongue' hot. Decent selection of dishes. There is a little terrace too with 3 tables for the smokers but the inside is totally closed so no smoke smell inside and AC'ed. I recommend a visit as my experience was truly great on all points.

Delicious food! Great and friendly staff!! They were also amazing how they dealt with all the tourists. This place must've been written up somewhere - many tourists there which surprised us as we thought it was a neighborhood joint and we wanted to check it out. Glad we did.

This is the bomb! Food are not pricey. We.ordered their fried sea bass and green curry. Not a fan of green curry so i wont make a review. But the sea bass is the bomb. So crispy and it came with a sauce/dip. Fish sauce with lemon and cashew. Super delicious! The fish cost only $10!

First time having tom yum soup without milk. It tastes good. Spicy and sour (quite spicy indeed). Pad thai is a bit small, but enough for me without sharing. The food are tasty and at reasonable price.

Sit and Wonder is a hidden gem you should try.I found this place based on some good reviews on Google map, ended up with coming twice in 2 evening.The place is rather hidden, it's located on the second floor (climb the stairs from outside). But in my opinion, the quality of the food is excellent. Tried the excellent Tom Yam, Green Curry, Pork Neck, and especially the chicken wings are so yummy.Obviously I'm not local, so I don't know if the taste is very authentic for Thai people, but I knew that I would always gladly come back here if I go to Bangkok again.There are a few outdoor sitting as well as 3 bar stools with a large TV, but not sure if they serve alcohol.

Great hidden gem in Thong Lo, with good quality of Thai food, reasonable price segment, friendly staff.Most customers are expats. From my local friend sharing, the taste is slightly adjusted for expats preference, like the spicy strength.

It's a very nice and comfy Restaurant with very moderate (not to expensive) prices and the food taste's very good!! The Meals are served quick, but need to wait when the restaurant is full by customers. Even the juices or the fruitshakes are very good.I will be there again next time when I am around!!
